Types and use of kvarto sheets
We supply the sheets in various variants, thanks to which they have a wide range of uses. It is suitable both for steel and bridge structures, as well as for transport machines and vehicles, ships or special military equipment. In our portfolio, you will also find sheets resistant to atmospheric corrosion, pressure and high temperatures, or sheets suitable for offshore structures.
Structural steel sheets
You can use structural steel sheets for both light and highly stressed applications. Their quality, processing requirements and properties are regulated by EN 10025-2, EN 10025-3, EN 10025-4, EN 10025-5 or ASTM/ASME regulations. Choose from several qualities depending on the area of use.
Sheets for cold forming
Sheets for cold forming are suitable for bending, edging, profiling and other processing methods due to their malleability. Their quality, processing requirements and properties are governed by EN 10149-2 and EN 10149-2 regulations. Choose from several qualities depending on the area of use.
Ship plates
These are sheets whose technical requirements and specifications are based on the regulations of the classification societies. Ship plates are characterized by excellent weldability and resistance to temperature fluctuations and alternating loads. You will use them for the construction of cruise and cargo ships or yachts and other vessels. It is also suitable for repairing or rebuilding boats.
Sheets for offshore according to EN 10225
These are standardized sheets that are primarily intended for structures at sea. The technical requirements and specifications are based on the regulations of the classification societies. Offshore sheets are characterized by excellent weldability, high resistance and longer service life. You will use them for constructions at sea and applications in coastal areas.
Sheets for further refinement
These are sheets of unalloyed and alloyed steel, which are primarily intended for machine components. Technical requirements and specifications are governed by EN ISO 683-1/EN 10343. The sheets are further processed by so-called finishing. Thanks to this, they are characterized by high toughness, hardness and strength. You will use them across the entire engineering industry.
Boiler plates
Boiler plates can be used in pressure-stressed applications. The sheets also have excellent resistance to high temperatures. Their quality, processing requirements and properties are governed by EN 10028-2, EN 10028-3, EN 10028-5, ASTM/ASME and AD 2000 Merkblatt regulations. Choose from several qualities depending on the area of use.

The stated dimensions are only approximate. The resulting appearance depends on the combination of individual parameters and material specification. Upon agreement, we are able to produce sheets up to a length of 21,000 mm and a thickness of 200 mm.
